Pastor Bryan Edenfield is a native of Georgia having grown up in Douglasville, Georgia where he met and married his high school sweetheart Kelly. While he enjoys reading, playing golf, and watching Andy Griffith reruns, most of his free time is spent with his family. He and his wife have three grown married children and twelve grandchildren. Pastor Bryan earned a BA in Theology from The Baptist College of Florida and a Master of Theology from Immanuel Baptist Theological Seminary in Sharpsburg, Georgia. He has served as a senior pastor in the ministry since July of 2000 and has also served for three years as a professor at Immanuel Baptist Seminary where he taught Bible and Evangelism classes. Pastor Bryan is an expository preacher who preaches through books of the Bible and diligently seeks to keep the Scriptures in proper context and show how they apply to our everyday lives. He is passionate about the life changing message of the gospel and is intentional in leading our church to be an authentic spiritual community that is devoted to following the Lord Jesus Christ.

Bob Dameron
Lay Elder of Outreach and Hospitality Ministries
Bob and his wife Lori have been members of Hickory Road since 2001. Ordained as an elder in 2020, Bob oversees the Outreach and Hospitality Ministries of the church. He is also currently teaching and adult Sunday school class and leads a men's Bible study on Saturday mornings. Bob and Lori have faithfully raised four children, and have been blessed to see them continue in the faith. Bob enjoys spending time with family and church family, hosting cookouts and grilling, and working in the yard.

Brian Robbins
Lay Elder of Children's Ministry
Brian and his wife Kristen have been members of Hickory Road since 2010. Ordained as an elder in 2020, Brian oversees the Children's Ministry of the church. He also teaches Sunday school and leads a weekly small group Bible study. Brian and Kristen have three children: Nathan, Daniel, and Caroline. Brian enjoys woodworking, tinkering with sound systems, ping pong, and challenging others to live up to the call of God on their lives.

Barry has served as Minister of Music at Hickory Road since 2017. Born and raised in South Carolina, he met his wife Macy while they both attended Erskine College. After graduating with BA degrees in Music and Bible & Religion, Barry moved to Florida where he spent five years teaching Bible classes at Covenant Christian School, coaching basketball, and making music. Barry and Macy have three children: Matthew, Bradley, and Elliana, who wonderfully facilitate the sanctification of their parents.

Josh Dameron
Deacon Chairman
Josh has been a part of Hickory Road Baptist for most of his life-25 years.! Josh has served on the deacon board since 2021. Throughout that time, he has been a familiar and valued member of Hickory Road Baptist. Josh also oversees our nursery area, helping ensure that our youngest children are welcomed and cared for. Josh and his wonderful wife, Rachel, have ben married 14 years, and have been gifted two beautiful children. Josh's favorite verse in the Bible can be found in the book of Ephesians, chapter 2, verse 4.
" But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgression-it is by grace you have been saved."

Justin Green
Deacon Vice Chairman
Justin has been a faithful part of Hickory Road Baptist for 18 years, and has diligently served alongside Josh for the past five years as Vice Chairman. Justin and his wife, Sara have been married for 23 years, and have two children who they lovingly disciple towards Christ. Justin's favorite Bible verse can be found in Philippians 4:6-7.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guide your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."

Bill Wahl
Deacon
Bill and his wife, Julie, have been cherished members of Hickory Road Baptist for 16 years. Bill has served on our Deacon Board for 14 years, giving of his time and care to our church. Bill and Julie have been married 54 years, and together have raised three grown children; who have blessed them with 8 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Proverbs 17:6 reminds us that grandchildren are a crown to their grandparents, and a true gift to see their family grow through multiple generations. Bill's favorite Bible verse is found in Galations 2:20.
"I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God., who loved me and gave Himself for me."

Robert Wofford
Deacon
Robert has been married to his wife, Mary for 55 years, and has been a member of Hickory Road Baptist for 41 years. For 39 of those years, he has selflessly served on our Deacon Board, offering wisdom, steady leadership, quite a few laughs, and a heart for people. Robert and Mary have obediently raised two daughers for the glory of God,, and have been blessed and humbled by the gift of 4 grandchildren. Robert's favorite Bible verse(s) can be found in Philippians and Mark.
" But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there-who is the Lord Jesus Christ."-Philippians 3:20.

Eddie Jones
Deacon
Eddie has been a part of the Hickory Road Baptist family for 6 years, and has served on the deacon board for two and a half years. Throughout his service, Eddie has always offered a willing and helping hand-giving generously of his time to care for the needs of our church building. Eddie and his wife, Robyn have been married 25 years, and have a large and cherished family! Together they share the leadership of 8 children, and 14 grandchildren! Their family is a beautiful reminder of the blessings of marriage, parenthood, and the joy of watching new generations grow. Eddie's favorite Bible verse is 2 Corinthians 5:21 which states:
"For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, that in Him we might become the righteousness of God."

Preston Cohen
Deacon
Preston has been attending Hickory Road Baptist since 2021, and has served on our Deacon Board since 2024. Preston and his wife, Elizabeth have been married 15 years, and have been entrusted with 3 children who are they are Biblically faithful in raising. Preston serves our board with diligence, care and a willingness to help however he can. Preston's favorite Bible verse is found in Philippians chapter 2, verse 15.
"....so that you may become blameless and pure-'children of God without fault in a crooked generation.' Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky."

Josh Brummeler

Josh is the newest member of our Deacon board, having begun serving less than a year ago. We are honored by the way Josh has stepped into this role with undivided attention and eagerness to care for the congregation. Josh and his wife, Alisha, have been married 17 years and have 4 children who share the love and example of Jesus that thier parents have directed them towards. The Brummeler family has called Hickory Road Baptist their church home for the past 11 years. We look forward to continue to see how God uses Josh for His glory. Josh's favorite Bible verse is the book of Psalms., chapter 1.
" Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, who mediates on His law day and night.
