Here at Hickory Road, we consider the music of our worship to be a part of the teaching ministry of the church.  Many of us never memorize our favorite sermons, but can easily quote many lyrics from memory - so we take great care in considering what we sing, because of to whom we sing.

All of our worship through music and song is directed toward God, to glorify God, to build up His church, and to teach His people.  We sing both of what is true, and in faith what will be true one day.  Using the best of the old and the best of the new, we sing music from all times in church history.  Our music reflects the modern musical language of the people, using whatever musical gifts God brings into our church.  This is a great a picture of the many members of the Body of Christ working together to be His hands and feet here on earth.
